Security at a jobsite can be a challenge. The 15 Gallon Safesite® Flammable Safety Chests provide added security of flammables in addition to
OSHA and
NFPA compliance. They are ideal for construction, utilities, and maintenance areas where gasoline, other fuels, paint thinners or chemicals are used and help protect against misuse or arson. The easy portability provided by the optional casters also make the flammable safety cabinets ideal for indoor maintenance and construction locations where solvents and other chemicals are used.
Manufacturing Details:
The 15 Gallon Safesite® Flammable Safety Chest features an all welded steel construction and a 16-gauge body and lid. The recessed handles on sides and lid eliminate any protrusions that could be damaged during transport while the heavy-duty 12-gauge runners allow the cabinet to be forklifted if necessary. Maximum protection from bolt cutters is achieved through the placement of extra thick .25” tangs which are welded to the inside of the lid, securely interlocking the dual internal recessed padlock pockets. Optional heavy duty casters with a load capacity of 2000 lbs. are available separately and provide easy mobility of the safety chest around the jobsite.
The double wall construction is protected by a superior UV-protected powdercoat finish inside and out to stand up to weather and abusive conditions. Opening of the double vents on the flammable safety cabinet allow vapors to escape when the unit is used outside at the jobsite. For indoor use check with local fire jurisdiction for venting requirements as closure of the vents will contain content vapors.
