The Birch 5 Section Stationary Coat Locker neatly stores children’s belongings, is easy to clean and arrives fully assembled. Available with five upper storage cubbies for lunchboxes or backpacks and five lower cubbies for boots or shoes the sectional locker provides ample storage space. Materials and Construction:
Constructed of birch laminate the large double hooks of the coat locker provide enough space for five children to store coats along with books, boots or backpacks in the 10 cubby storage units located above and below the locker.
The stationary locker with cubbies features KYDZSafe® edges in which all edges-front, back and base are fully rounded in addition to the recessed backs which enhance the strength and appearance of the locker. The KYDZTuff® finish used on each piece resists stains, won’t yellow and is E-Z to clean. The durable finish is as tough as the finish coating used on gym floors.
Overall increased strength is gained by employing the dowel pin technique in the KYDZStrong® construction. This leaves the thickness of the material intact where most of the stress occurs thereby increasing the already noteworthy strength of the furniture by 30% or more.
