DuraTough™ all-welded cabinets are designed to withstand the toughest industrial applications. Hallowell DuraTough™ Cabinets are available with Heavy-Duty 16 Gauge construction or Extra Heavy-Duty 14 Gauge construction. Select from standard cold rolled steel fabrication or corrosion resistant Galvannealed Sheet Steel Construction. The Galvanite finish is a Zinc-Iron allow coating they help protect against high-humidity and moist environments. This coating also prevents corrosion from spreading when the paint and/or coating is scratched.
DuraTough™ Cabinets are available in multiple sizes with 2, 3 or 4 adjustable shelves. Combo Cabinets are also available which combine the utility of a storage cabinet with the convenience of a wardrobe locker. All DuraTough™ Cabinets are finished with a durable Charcoal Powder Coat.

About the Design
Combination Storage/Wardrobe Cabinets combine the best of both worlds. These dual purpose cabinets feature a roomy wardrobe storage compartment with coat rod on one side and four adjustable storage shelves on the other. The top shelf covers the full width of the cabinet for storage of larger items. The locking mechanism is located in the right-hand door and consists of a three point top, center and bottom locking mechanism which is padlock ready. Double doors open wide for easy access to the interior compartments.
DuraTough™ Combination Cabinets are available in 36”, 48” and 60” widths. Cabinets Stand 78” in height and are 24” in depth. An optional 4” leg kit is available that will raise the cabinets up off the floor. Leg kits include two full-depth 4” high legs with hardware for bolting on to cabinet bottom. Leg kits can be attached to all Hallowell All-Welded Cabinets.
DuraTough™ Cabinets are delivered to you direct from the factory fully assembled and ready for use. Please note that many locker orders arrive via freight truck. If you are a residential customer, have a clearance issue or need to have your order unloaded from the semi truck, please indicate in our shipping option. About the Materials
Hallowell DuraTough Heavy-Duty Cabinets are manufactured from 16 gauge cold rolled steel while DuraTough Extra Heavy-Duty Cabinets are manufactured from 14 gauge cold rolled steel. Both styles are available with a corrosion resistant Galvanite coating. For corrosion resistant cabinets, select the Galvanite option when ordering.
Doors are fabricated to include a 3” wide, 18 gauge full height door stiffener that is welded to the hinge side of the door. Three heavy duty 13 Gauge 7-knuckle 3-1/2” butt hinges are welded to each door and securely riveted to the frame. Steel pry resistant retainers are welded to the door midway above and below the handle.
Cabinet frame and side panels are formed from a single sheet of 16 or 14 gauge steel. Sides shall include a welded-in shelf support channel with punched keyholes allowing shelves to be adjustable. Cabinet base is formed from a single sheet with double return flanges at all four sides for maximum rigidity. The underside of the side flanges are pre-punched to allow for bolt-on leg kits. Cabinet top is formed from a single sheet and is welded to both vertical side/frame members. Cabinet backs are welded to the top, bottom and sides of the unit.
