Galvanite™ Rust Resistant Lockers are fabricated from prime galvannealed sheet steel. Galvanneal combines the processes of galvanizing (hot-dipped zinc coating) and annealing (heat treatment). Galvanneal does not flake when formed or stamped. The fine matte finish acts like a primer and easily accepts the electrostatically applied, high grade, powder coat parchment finish to provide double protection against corrosion. These characteristics make galvannealed sheet steel ideal for steel lockers in high humidity, corrosion prone areas such as outdoors, pool areas and food facilities.
About the Design:
With a neutral parchment, powder coat finish, Hallowell Triple Tier Galvanite™ Lockers, will complement any décor. These Rust Resistant Lockers are available in three sizes as 1-wide or 3-wide units. All lockers in this series come in a standard width of 12”W. Select from 12”, 15”, or 18” depths. The overall frame height is 78” with a door opening height of 24” on the Triple Tier Units. Order 3-wide units for the best value. Order 1-wide units to complete the quantity required for each continuous row. All Triple Tier lockers include one double prong ceiling hook per unit. Use Hallowell lockers for storage of personal items, sports gear and school or business property.
Rust Resistant Galvanite™ Lockers are delivered direct to you from the factory. Lockers can be shipped knock-down and ready for assembly with all necessary hardware included. Alternatively you can have the lockers fully assembled and shipped to you ready for installation. Select your preference when ordering. It is highly recommended that lockers be securely anchored to the wall or floor prior to use, to prevent tipping and possible injury.
Locker doors are louvered for ventilation and are equipped with a seamless drawn recessed handle that allows the lock to set flush with the outer door surface. The handle is compatible with a built-in combination lock or a padlock. Locks are not included and must be purchased separately. The finger lift control type latching mechanism has two latch hooks with spring activated slide latches that allow the doors to close with the lock in the locked position.
Number Plates are supplied at no additional charge. All stock locker orders will ship with number plates numbered 1-Up. If a special numbering sequence is required, please specify when ordering and include a $50.00 net set-up charge.
About the Materials:
Locker sides of these Triple Tier units are constructed of 24 gauge galvanneal sheet steel for superior durability and years of use. Locker doors and frames are constructed of 16 gauge material with rubber bumpers to cushion door closing. Each locker door is hinged with continuous 16 gauge piano hinges to ensure smooth door operation. The recessed door latch is constructed of 14 gauge steel with a nylon cover.

All Galvanite™ Lockers come standard with 6” legs. The overall height of the lockers will be 6” taller than the height listed above. For example the overall dimension of the 12"W x 18"D x 72"H locker will be 12"W x 18"D x 78"H.
