About the Wall-Mount Laptop Safe/Security Cabinet
This 20 gauge steel laptop security cabinet provides the ultimate in laptop security for laptops containing highly classified information whether in a small business setting or government office. The cabinet is able to hold up to a 17” laptop, the security locker comes with a cushioned platform pad that measures 12 ¼” x 17 ¼”. When extended the platform (door) sits 18 ¾” from the mounting surface. The locking devise of the security safe is an electronic keypad which has both administrative and user passwords both of which are changeable if necessary. The keypad power is run by four-AA batteries (not included with purchase) and features two backup emergency power sources: the first is an external source which plugs into the keypad and the second is a key which is inserted under the handle plate. An adjustable elastic strap on the platform holds the laptop in place when unit is closed. A 1 ½” grommet on each side of the laptop locker allows for charging of the unit during storage. Additional storage area for camera, cell phone and power strip are included.
