About The 18 Unit Electric Storage Cart
Constructed of 18 gauge “prime” metal with a 20 gauge back panel and an average of 35% recycled content, the finish of the storage cart is applied using an electrostatic powder coat paint thus eliminating all VOCs caused by wet painting. The storage cart features eight 18 gauge interior shelves with rubber mats that measure 36-1/4"W x 17"D with laptop compartments measuring 14-11/16"W x 17"D x 3"H allowing for 18 notebook computer with added storage. The top shelf of the storage cart measures 36-1/2"W x 24"D to provide an area for laptop and printer or can be used as a general working surface.
The powered storage unit is secured with a resettable combination padlock and rests on four antistatic 5” casters or optional 8” casters, two of which lock in place allowing for easy mobility of the computer laptop cart. The storage cart features two built in handles and is available with front or rear interior electrical supply mounting options which include a 20’ power cord and an on/off switch located at the base of the cart. When charging all units at one time, each charging unit must be plugged into outlets on separate circuits to prevent overload of circuit breaker. Attached to the rear of the unit is a three-outlet electrical unit. The UL-Listed cart includes an automatic timer. The overall dimensions of the storage carts are 36-1/2"W x 24"D x 43-13/16"H.
The 18 Unit Electric Storage Cart complies with the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute’s GREENGUARD Children & Schools Indoor Air Quality standards, contributing to points toward LEED Certification. The mobile Laptop Storage Cart is manufactured in the U.S.A. using union labor.
